The power of touch when working with a client

Whether you meet clients for yoga, therapy, dance/movement lessons or as a coach, trainer, etc. touch is a theme that sooner or later, consciously or unconsciously, starts to appear. Touch is a bigger taboo for some than for others, and even more so when it is in the context of working with a client. Some systems and approaches do not support touching the client due to ethical principles and the belief that touch may be threatening to the client. We invite you to examine and verify such beliefs with your own experience.
