MUSICA MEDICA - healing concert

The multi-genre music project Musica Medica is a combination of personalities from different corners of the music world. The two professionals were united by the original, often neglected, idea that musical content should first of all lift the mood, the spirit of a person.

However, Musica Medica performers do not stop at this level, they are even convinced that music has the ability to act on a physical level and in its own way improve a person's health. In this case, the musician is a mediator who 'revives' the vibrations of the tones with his playing, and these have a beneficial effect not only as a sound experience, but also as real waves of frequencies on the human body.

In their work, they turn to sound references that originate in the tradition of the original inhabitants of our planet, but they are not afraid to combine them with contemporary song forms, harmonies and the pulse of today's times. Having lived most of his life in England, Rami Shaafi is a master of aliquot and throat singing and masters the techniques of playing traditional instruments from around the world that are several thousand years old. In a musical fusion, they combine with the sound of guitars, beat box and electronic effects of today, brought by jazzman Boris Čellár.  The musical form is characterized by complete improvisation, all compositions are created at the moment of the act.
