About the Event
Both beginners and advanced in Tai Chi will enjoy the fresh green shots of life that the active and energetic Spring will bring to our classes.
The five essences of TaiJiQuan correspond to the 5 seasons of the ancient Daoist lunar calendar. They were people who studied the natural cycles of change and put what they observed into practice with their own bodies.
The fifth essence - "Forward" is prominent in the spring season. In TaiJi it means to act, and therefore to do what we have thought about for a long time and what we have planned for a long time.
Taking the first step is the hardest part when we start our journey. "Which way should I go?" "Should I leave the comfortable and resting position?"
"Do I really want to go this way?"
If we take the first step, our back foot is still on the ground…
