Concert: Mirka Krónerová & Ondrej Križan + Jam session

We have prepared for you such a beautiful combination of chamber concert and dance-music jam session :) 

3 hours in music and dance.

Mirka Krónerová and Ondrej Križan will perform in concert. Mirka and Ondrík are our close friends and we are very happy that you can experience their vibe here at Movement LAB <3 

And this concert will also be very special because it will start unconventionally. In a common circle, in common attunement to your voice and sound. During this period, any connection with yourself is more than necessary. Perceive where our center is, our firm place and connect with it and at the same time connect with others.

More in Mirka's words:

"I invite you to open our concert in a communal circle and if you have the opportunity, bring a shamanic drum or rattle (not a requirement). I would like to bring a space to connect with our voice as a carrier of the essence of ourselves, so that we can connect with our a deep essence that may seem distant under the current layer of chaos. It won't be about whether we intonate or not. It will be about letting go of everything that needs to be spoken and caressed. And in this case, I assure you, we can all sing."

And what is the work of this wonderful duo about?

"Our work reflects our perception. Not only of music, but also of the world inside us and the world outside with which we form relationships. Voice, tones, beat, dynamics and poetry thus become for us carriers of our emotions and means of communication for their expression through experience . We believe in the healing potential of music, whether for its receiver or the transmitter itself. Just as it is impossible to put a complex reality into boxes, we do not box our music either, we let both pass through and connect what they feel is an important message at the moment. And if these words seem too complicated, we simply warmly invite you to our concert in an environment that is safe, accepting, connecting, and whatever you wish to add to yourself."

After the concert, you have the opportunity to stay for a dance-music jam session. If you have the tools, you can bring and join in co-creating and being in creativity, spontaneity, expressiveness and freedom. The space is open for people who dance contact improvisation and for anyone who likes to express themselves in dance in any other way.
